Who is this best for?
- For all hair types and textures with visible damage from color, heat, chemical and physically damaging factors.
- Color Treated Hair
- For weak hair in need of strengthening.
- For those with dry, fragile, and damaged hair from color, bleach and heat looking to restore the integrity of their hair.
What is in it and what is this used for?
- A unique bond technology composed of 2 mechanisms: One helps create more hydrogen and ionic bonds to help with overall hair strength and makes hair more resistant to repeated styling and heat to help prevent damage over time. The other reduces the amount of breakage caused to hair’s bonds by helping to seal and protect hair fibers for softer, healthier looking hair.
- Oils such as Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil, and Jojoba Seed Oil and Squalane nourish hair, add protection to your strands and lots of shine
- Hydrolyzed Quinoa provides protein to the hair, acting as a humectant and emollient
- Panthenol (Provitamin B5) has incredible humectant properties and improves moisture retention in the hair and to improve hair strength, promote curl, and help fight frizz while improving the look and feel of damaged or weak curls.
When and how often should it be used?
- Formulated for every wash use, a generous amount should be applied and distributed evenly with the most focus on damaged areas.
- Comb through and keep it on hair for three minutes or longer before rinsing thoroughly.
Why I (Mell) Love it:
- For a silicone-free conditioner, this impressed both of us – literally we called each other after our first shower to rave about how good it felt and how easily it detangled which, when you have dry and damaged hair, is the most important thing.
- It doesn’t just feel amazing in the hair, but also after rinsing. I noticed my curls looked super bouncy even after my first wash.
- And I love that this is fragrance-free, making it an option for everybody to use.
Bonus: *silicone-free but still super slippery – this easily detangles hair and provides a silky feel and shine while still being lightweight.
HOW-TO:
- On wet hair — but not dripping wet hair– apply as much conditioner as the density of your hair. This can be measured by loosely gripping the bulk of your hair between your fingers, almost as if you were tying a ponytail.
- The size of the circle that holds your hair should be about the size of the dollop of conditioner you take. Pro-tip while you’re holding your hair in a ponytail– gently wring out excess water that can dilute your conditioner.
- Next, apply conditioner on your mid-lengths and hair ends (Extra tip):
- Gently massage that into your strands, smoothing downward with your cuticle to coat and protect your hair.
- Once your strands are pretty evenly coated, you can start detangling with a brush or comb.
