Who is this best for?

  • Porosity: Normal-high
  • Texture: Thick, Frizzy, Medium-Coarse strands & Compromised hair
  • The driest of hairs — making them feel softer, smoother, silkier and shinier. If you are short on time or low maintenance, don’t worry — this works in just 3-5 minutes. It is a great option to use if you have a colour treated/damaged hair with a normal-dry scalp.

What is this used for and what is in it?

  • This is a deep conditioning hair mask, also called a deep conditioner, used in addition to or in replacement of a regular daily conditioner. It is much thicker and richer in ingredients than a regular conditioner
  • The star ingredient in this product is Argan Oil, famously known for being a lightweight oil capable of conditioning strands with it’s high levels of essential fatty acids and antioxidants such as vitamin A, E, and C
  • This hair mask contains strengthening + hydrating plant protein and when paired with all the other conditioning ingredients in the formula, offers the perfect balance of protein and moisture for dry and/or damaged hair.

When/Where should this be used in my routine?

  • This can be used every wash day in replacement of your regular conditioner.
  • This is best used on clean hair when in need of extra love.

Why do I (Mell) love it?

  • This mask is without a doubt in my top 10. It is one of the creamiest and luxurious feeling (and smelling) formulas packed into a big jar at such a wonderfully affordable price.
  • Unlike other deep conditioners that feel so thick they are difficult to distribute throughout the hair, this formula is extremely silky and gives excellent slip, so it is easy to brush through the hair and even to use for detangling. As a blonde with high porosity hair, it is one of my go-to’s to condition my hair on a major self-care day.
  • Best of all, it does it’s job in a short amount of time. No 30 minute processing, just 3-5 minutes and the hair feels magic. While I could use it every wash day, I reach for this most when my hair is feeling extra dry, either after a clarifying shampoo treatment, during the winter months, or after a fresh colour job.
Bonus: it is 100% Cruelty-Free & Vegan, Sustainably Made and Packaged in 100% Recyclable Packaging plus it’s affordable!
Extra Bonus: the smell is a soft delicious warm, fresh floral scent

HOW-TO:

Deep conditioners & masks should be used when needed and as directed.

  1. When my hair feels extra dry and brittle, I treat it to this mask for 5-7 minute, even though it only needs to be on for 2-5 (as instructed on the bottle). Note: not all deep conditioners are made the same.
  2. This formula has enough “slip” to detangle the hair and does not need to be used with a regular conditioner, but some deep conditioners can be so thick and not have great slip; this does not make them bad, but they’re not meant to be used as a detangler, just an intense moisturizer. Use your discretion.

EXTRA TIP: If your hair is fine, low density, and easily weighed down, using a deep conditioner on damp ends before shampooing will allow a little extra to rinse off with your shampoo while still giving your hair a treatment.
