Who is this best for?
- straight, wavy, curly and coily hair types
- medium/coarse strands
- People with extremely dry hair seeking less frizz
What is in it and what is this used for?
- Amodimethicone, a silicone excellent for color-treated-bleached hair, selectively targets damaged areas in the hair cuticle to form a durable film, protecting the hair color and strength while increasing shine and silky feel.
- Aloe Barbadensis Extract from aloe vera plants that contain moisturizing, therapeutic and healing properties for your hair.
- Hydrolyzed vegetable proteins offer additional elasticity, shine, strength, and moisture.
- Abyssinian Oil, a natural alternative to synthetic mineral oils often used in hair care products, acts as an occlusive to the hair keeping cuticles closed and protected, while locking the moisture inside the hair.
When and how often should it be used?
- Using the Prep, Style, Finish Method, this is step 1, Prep in your post-wash routine. Apply a small amount on clean wet hair before other stylers, using more as needed (based on how moisturized the hair feels)
Why I (Mell) Love It?
- This was the first leave-on conditioner I used in my teens that changed the way I approached my styling routine (yes I have been using this for a decade and counting).
- This super moisturizing formula carefully balanced with small amounts of vegetable protein helps to soften, detangle, and makes hair more manageable, moisturized for longer, and feeling amazingly soft.
- Warning: you will have to fight the urge to touch your hair all day when using this.
Bonus: Vegan, Cruelty-free, and available in post-consumer recycled and recyclable packaging and Smells amazing.
HOW-TO (tips from a pro):
- Take a small amount of this product and rub it between your palms to coat your hands before coating your hair. Because this treatment is so concentrated, you want to evenly coat the hair without weighing down your hair and wasting product.
- I personally prefer to apply this on wet/damp hair, but also use it to reapply on dry hair when an extra moisture kick is needed. Proceed with styling as usual!
